Rinse and Repeat2024
This moving image piece was created in order to present the ritualistic and aggressive movements of compulsive hand washing. The video works in conjunction with the trials followed in Prince's Drop to expose the origin of such lather and the frantic yet calculated movements that were undertaken during a period of mental breakdown, in an attempt to purge the body of unwanted traces of matter.
This film will be shown alongside Prince’s Drop, which will be debuting at the UoP Gradauate Show on June 14th 2024, and followed up by a feature at Free Range 2024.
